Added on Dec 12, 2010 by J Merrill in
UFC 124 took place Saturday night at the Bell Centre in Montreal in front of the largest audience to ever watch a Mixed Martial Arts contest in one place. The event had an attendance of 23,152, and the live gate total was $4.58 million. The well hyped up main event lasted 5 rounds, and home town hero Georges St. Pierre dominated Josh Koscheck the entire fight. Here are the quick results. Look for my full breakdown later of UFC 124.
Each Bonus was $100,000
Knock Out of The Night: Mace Danzig
Submission of The Night: Mark Bocek and Jim Miller (will split the 100k)
Fight of The Night: Georges St. Pierre Vs Josh Koscheck
Dana White also promised that Matt Riddle and Sean Pierson would be “Taken care of” when the bonus checks went out. The fans chose the winners online for the first time, and White didn’t agree with decision. He also said the UFC would not do that anymore.
