Chris Camozzi Vs Kyle Noke

I am willing to argue that this fight was destined to happen since the Liddell Vs Ortiz Ultimate Fighter season. Camozzi won his way into the house, but sustained a broken jaw, and was forced out of the house. Noke also won his way into the house, and continued winning until he was eliminated by Kris McKray in the quarter finals via decision. Both Noke and Camozzi have gone on to put together 2 UFC wins a piece, and find themselves on the main card of UFC 127.

Camozzi has a strong wrestling base, and has a knack for finding ways to win fights. He had a close call in his lat bout versus Dong Yi Yang, who was a virtual unknown to the MMA community, and Chris beat him via decision. He is a lean middleweight who isn’t afraid of coming forward and being aggressive. Chris also has the ability to do it all three rounds, and has shown he was able to break Dong in the third round of the fight. Cardio won’t be a problem for Chris. When I interviewed Chris about the fight he said “someone is getting cut, because we both like to throw elbows.” Camozzi is a student of Kru Marc Montoya, and is more then capable of throwing a fight ending elbow.

Kyle Noke has the advantage of fighting in his backyard, and he WILL have the crowd on his side. Its important to mention that they are never cruel to the people that are challenging their countrymen, but they will be cheering more loudly for Noke. Kyle was able to finish both of his opponents in the UFC, but I don’t think either Kimmons or Bryant match up to Chris’ opponents. This will be a close fight, but I think he needs to avoid the clinch of Camozzi.

Camozzi is coming into this fight as an underdog, and it may be worth a little money. Camozzi finds a way to win fights, and I think he will find a way to finish Kyle Noke. Camozzi has proven tough to put away in all of his fights, and I think he has the wrestling acumen to dictate where this fight will end up. I think Camozzi hits Noke with a shot early in the fight, and the rest of the time Kyle will be trying to tie up Camozzi. I see Chris finishing the fight in the 3rd round.
