King Mo On Fighting Training Partners
There is a lot of talk these days about training partners fighting training partners. For a long time, in Mixed Martial Arts camps, the rule was you have one guy per weight class. If you remember when Diego Sanchez left Greg Jackson’s camp, he left because Jackson brought in Georges St. Pierre. The idea being, if you have two guys going for the title, things could get awkward. This all came to the forefront when Jon Jones beat Shogun for the title, and Rashad Evans was next in line.
The latest person to come out and talk about it is “King” Mo Lawall, and he is sticking up for his friend Rashad Evans. Mo said “I know none of my training partners that are my brothers would ever pull a ho-move like that. If I say I ain’t going to fight my brother, I ain’t going to fight my brother.”
King Mo is set to fight Ovince St. Preux, and even though the last Strikeforce Insider email said it was happening in Texas, it is not. No date has been released for the fight yet.

Foster made the announcement on Twitter, and said an MRI scan revealed the injury. The UFC has yet to release an official statement on Foster’s withdrawal, and it is currently unknown whether the promotion is searching for a replacement. They will wait a few weeks and go in for another scan to figure out the next step, and if he needs surgery or a further procedure.
