Bellator 35 took place this Saturday night in Lemoore, California, and the event kicked off their 4th season. The event included four quarterfinal bouts of the Season 4 welterweight tournament. The California State Athletic Commission announced the medical suspensions for the event, and it included one of the tournament winners.

-Brent Weedman, who defeated Dan Hornbuckle to continue on in the tournament and sustained a laceration to his face, is suspended 60 days or until he gets cleared by a physician. NOTE: Bellator tries really hard to accommodate tournament winners, and most likely he will be able to still compete.

-“Judo” Jim Wallhead, who lost his bout to Rick Hawn, is suspended for 60 days or until he is cleared by a physician.

-Zoila Frausto, who defeated Karina Hallinan, received the largest suspension. Zoila is suspended 180 days, for a possible fracture in her right hand. She can be also be cleared by a physician.

Strikeforce: Feijao Vs. Henderson Salaries

Firstly, the even it self drew an abysmal 7,100 fans to the event, and it is causing some doubt that they will be back for next years Arnolds. The Arnolds drew around 200,000 people to the Columbus area, and I am sure the attendance was well below the target Strikeforce was aiming for.

Second, The salaries below reflect the numbers that were given to the Ohio State Athletic Commission, and do NOT reflect the entire salaries earned. Many speculate that some over seas fighters request their official salaries be reported well below there actual numbers for tax purposes. Also, these numbers do not reflect any sponsorship dollars, or any bonuses from Strikeforce.
