Hossa And Kane Not Suited Up For Kings

The Hawks were happy to have Marian Hossa and Patrick Kane on the ice with them on Saturday for practice, but they did not suit up for the game on Sunday Night against the Los Angeles Kings.

Patrick Kane has been out since December 7 when the injured his left ankle in a game against the Calgary Flames. He is Currently the Hawks 3rd leading scorer with 11 goals and 16 assists. It was announced the Kane would miss up to three weeks, but he has been skating a little bit. This has been leading to a lot of rumors that he will be back sooner then expected. Coach Quenville said after the practice on Saturday that he may have aggravated the injury a little bit during the shoot around. In his career he has 87 goals, 170 assists, and 257 points.

Marian Hossa has been out since November 27. He suffered a lower body injury when he collided with teammate Nick Boynton at practice. However, Seeing how you feel on skates is a long ways away from actually practicing, or a full speed game.  So far this year he has 18 points in just 21 games, and the Hawks are really missing the sticks of both players. In his career he has 371 goals, 417 assists, and 788 points.
