Week 10 Fantasy Football Picks
Added on Nov 09, 2012 by Scott in
More bye week blues for Week 10 of the 2012 NFL season. Aaron Rodgers, RG III, Alfred Morris, Trent Richardson, Larry Fitzgerald and the Packers receiving corps will all be resting and relaxing while fantasy owners with playoff aspirations are left scrambling for worthy fill in options. A loss at this point could be the difference in marching toward fake glory or waiting until next year. Here are some names to consider.
Ryan Tannehill (vs. TEN) – Lost in the Andrew Luck and RG III hype has been the performance of Tannehill, who has remained decent despite the dearth of playmakers in the Dolphins attack. The Titans rank dead last in points allowed and 27th versus the pass. Tannehill should find success on Sunday.
Felix Jones (@ PHI) – The Eagles are spiraling out of control on both sides of the ball. The ‘Boys aren’t in any better shape, but they possess more talent across the board. Felix is hardly reliable, but he did manage to muster 109 total yards against the Falcons last week. If you need a flex candidate, he’s a serviceable choice.
Marcel Reese (@ BAL) – With Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson hobbled, Reese will likely see increased snaps especially on third down. He’s becoming a consistent check down security blanket for Carson Palmer. The Ravens defense isn’t nearly as dominant as in years past, so the Silver and Black fullback could be in store for a solid day. PPR owners take note.
Michael Jenkins (vs DET) – Looking for a reach play at wide receiver? Jenkins is your guy. Percy Harvin is doubtful to suit up and the Lions secondary is still vulnerable to blowing a coverage or two. Don’t expect miracles here, but if you’re not afraid of a gamble, by all means roll the dice.
Malcolm Floyd (@ TB) – If you’ve been stashing Floyd on your bench for weeks, now is the time to dust him off. The Bucs rank 32nd versus the pass and just gave up 414 yards to Carson Palmer. The Chargers are floundering a bit, but they’ll need to throw to keep pace with Tampa’s explosive offense. Start Mal with confidence.
Dustin Keller (@ SEA) – Mark Sanchez might throw for only 100 yards in Seattle on Sunday, but most of them will probably be to Keller, who has 14 catches in his last two starts. With very few consistent options at tight end this season, Keller is a safe bet.
