The Terrell Owens versus Donovan McNabb feud just won’t go away. On the latest episode of his and Chad Ochocinco’s reality series The T.Ocho Show Tuesday night, the never shy Bengals receiver took the opportunity to weigh in on McNabb’s most recent benching. Ocho disagreed with Mike Shanahan’s decision to sit the six-time Pro Bowler in favor of Rex Grossman. However, T.O. didn’t share his co-host’s sentiment.

Owens, who has never been afraid to rock the boat, offered these pointed words regarding his former Eagles teammate:

“Well, I don’t really want to start anything, but I did play in the Super Bowl [with McNabb], and there were rumors where he couldn’t get our two-minute offense going at the end of the game,” Owens said. “I’m just saying.”

For those who may have forgotten, those “rumors” Owens speaks of were started by him after the Eagles loss to the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXIX. Basically, that was what led to Owens ugly exit from the City of Brotherly Love.

So, this isn’t the first time McNabb’s conditioning has been questioned. Whether there is any truth to the Super Bowl rumors remains a mystery, but for what it’s worth, Owens wasn’t shocked by the benching and feels Shanahan had good reasons to make the move.

Meanwhile, Ocho expressed the majority opinion in this strange controversy with the following gem:

“If anyone else out there feels that Rex Grossman gives the Washington Redskins a better chance than Donovan McNabb to win a game with two minutes left on the clock, they need to slap they selves.”

I have to agree with Ocho. If the ‘Skins had a decent backup like Jon Kitna or Billy Volek, then sitting down McNabb might make sense. But Rex Grossman? The guy has been a 20-car pileup his whole career, which was evidenced by his first play from scrimmage when he coughed up the ball that was returned for a touchdown by the Lions.

Whatever the case, it’s obvious T.O. still enjoys trashing McNabb. Like a woman, hell has no fury like a egotistical wide receiver scorned.
