Fantasy Football: Week 11 Pickups
Added on Nov 16, 2010 by Barry in
Quarterback
Shaun Hill, Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions are on the rise in the NFL and could be the team of the future in the NFC Conference, but this season they have struggled to stay healthy and will most likely be without star quarterback Matthew Stafford for the rest of the season due to shoulder injury.
Taking Matthew Stafford’s place is Shaun Hill who has played well in his time under center this season and has become a viable fantasy football option if you need a quarterback.
Running Back
Javarris James, Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts are a strictly a passing team as long as Peyton Manning is under center, but in order to mix up the offense and make up for the many injuries the team has sustained this season, the Colts might be going to the ground game in the next few weeks.
With Joseph Addai banged up, the Colts will look to Javarris James to take the bulk of the carries and could put up some points for your fantasy team if you are weak at running back.
Wide Receiver
Jacoby Ford, Oakland Raiders
The Oakland Raiders are an up and coming team in the AFC Conference and even though they seem dedicated to the ground game with running back Darren McFadden leading the way, wide receiver Jacoby Ford has made an impression over the past two weeks and could become a big fantasy option.
Tight End
Jermaine Gresham, Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals may be arguably one of the worst teams in the league right now as they just can’t seem to get wins this season, but they do have the ability to put a lot of points on the board with their potent offense led by quarterback Carson Palmer.
Even though Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco are Carson Palmer’s favorite targets in the offense, tight end Jermaine Gresham is slowly making his way into this offense and can be a threat to score some touchdowns in the next few weeks.
