Quarterback

Brett Favre, Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings have been struggling in the first half of the NFL regular season, but they may have been able to start to turn things around as they are coming off a comeback win over the Arizona Cardinals and a career-high in passing yards from Brett Favre (446 yards).

Even though Favre could quickly turn back into his former self against the Chicago Bears lockdown defense this weekend by turning the football, I believe he has finally gotten that winning attitude back and could be a big fantasy option at quarterback moving forward.

Running Back

Chester Taylor, Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears offensive line is awful with almost no signs of improving, but once they get in the redzone they will turn to running back Chester Taylor to get them into the endzone.

Taylor won’t be a big force in the ground game in terms of yards, but being the Bears number one option in endzone situations gives him some fantasy value.

Wide Receiver

Sidney Rice, Minnesota Vikings

It is uncertain whether or not Sidney Rice is 100% healthy right now, but he seems ready to make his return this weekend against the Chicago Bears.

If you are thin at wide receiver, Rice is the perfect addition for your fantasy football team as he might put up some big numbers if Brett Favre plays well from here on out.

Tight End

Jacob Tamme, Indianapolis Colts

With perennial Pro Bowler Dallas Clark out for the season, fourth-time NFL MVP quarterback Peyton Manning will be looking to Jacob Tamme to pick up the slack and the past two weeks he has done just that with 172 yards and two touchdowns.

Defense

Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals may be one of the streakiest teams in the NFL this season and pretty unreliable in terms of fantasy football production, but if you are desperate for defense to fill in for your starting defense then the Cardinals would be good replacement for Week 10.
