Fantasy Football: Start ‘Em Week 13

Quarterback
Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers
Last week NFL MVP candidate Philip Rivers didn’t exactly have the best game as he finished with no touchdowns, but with his defense playing so well against the Indianapolis Colts offense, he really didn’t need to.
This week the San Diego Chargers will be hosting the division rival Oakland Raiders and Rivers will be poised to have a huge day against the Raiders pass defense.
Running Back
Peyton Hillis, Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns won’t be playoff bound this season and may not get another win on the year, but they have arguably one of the best running backs in the league in the up and coming Peyton Hillis.
In Week 13, the Cleveland Browns will take on the Miami Dolphins and even though they have a decent defense, I believe Hillis will be in for yet another big day!
Wide Receiver
Dwayne Bowe, Kansas City Chiefs
Last week quarterback Matt Cassel’s favorite target wide receiver Dwayne Bowe had a huge game as he finished with 170 yards and three touchdowns in the win over the Seattle Seahawks, but this week he will look to top those numbers as the Kansas City Chiefs will play host to the lowly Denver Broncos.
Tight End
Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys playoff hopes might be over coming into Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts, but they still have an extremely potent offense which should be on display this weekend against the weak secondary of Indianapolis.
Dez Bryant is probably the best start from the Dallas Cowboys this weekend, but perennial Pro Bowl tight end Jason Witten is also a solid start in Week 13.
Defense
Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers may be coming off a disappointing loss to arguably the best team in the league in the Atlanta Falcons, but they still have one of the best defenses in the NFL and will look to put on a show on the defensive side of the football this weekend against the lowly San Francisco 49ers.
