Fantasy Football: Sit ‘Em Week 14
Added on Dec 08, 2010 by Barry in
Quarterback
Matt Schaub, Houston Texans
The Houston Texans look like a team on the outside looking in on the playoffs as they haven’t been able to play consistently well this season and seem to be out of the running in the AFC South division as the Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars sit atop of the division.
Even though they might be able to get a couple of more wins before the NFL regular season comes to an end, Matt Schaub and company will be in for a long day this Monday night against the lockdown defense of the Baltimore Ravens.
With that being said, I believe that Schaub could be forced into some costly turnovers and it would be wise to put him on the bench.
Running Back
Felix Jones, Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys have come into their own as of late and with the big overtime win over the Indianapolis Colts last weekend they seem to be on the track, but this week they will be going head to head with Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles who do a good job of limiting the running game which means it wouldn’t be wise to start Felix Jones this week.
Wide Receiver
Braylon Edwards, New York Jets
The New York Jets are coming off arguably their biggest loss of the season against the division rival New England Patriots and even though they will most likely get back on track this week against the Miami Dolphins, it has become apparent that Santonio Holmes is the go to wide receiver for quarterback Mark Sanchez and Braylon Edwards has taken a backseat.
Tight End
Ron Gronkowski, New England Patriots
The New England Patriots offense is firing on all cylinders right now, but even though Tom Brady makes a habit out of getting all of his receivers involved, tight end Ron Gronkowski has become a non factor in terms of fantasy football and it would be a good idea to drop him in my opinion.
Defense
Chicago Bears
There is no doubt that the Chicago Bears have one of the best defenses in the NFL this season, but they will be going up against arguably one of the best offenses this week in the New England Patriots that torched the lockdown defense of the New York Jets last week.

If you had both the Bears defense and Brady.. do you sit one of them or guarantee yourself some points and start both?
