Coming into this NFL regular season, no one knew what to expect from New England Patriots as they were just dominated by the Baltimore Ravens in the playoffs, but with superstar quarterback Tom Brady under center and head coach Bill Belichick calling the shots on the sidelines, it is hard to count out this team.

Fortunately, despite trading away arguably their best wide receiver in Randy Moss, the New England Patriots have played much better than anticipated this season and have high hopes of making it into the playoffs and possibly winning the AFC East division title.

In Week 10, the stage was set for a AFC Conference heavyweight battle between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots, but even though Ben Roethlisberger were given the edge heading into this matchup, Tom Brady was able to lead his boys to victory with arguably his most impressive performance of the season.

Even though over the years Tom Brady has been one of the most dependable quarterbacks in the league in terms of fantasy football, this season he has been somewhat mediocre with numbers that rival a QB in a backup role.

Once Randy Moss had been traded to the Minnesota Vikings, it was thought that Brady’s numbers would get even worse, but after his 350 yards and four total touchdown (three passing, one rushing) performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the former NFL MVP seems to be back to form and a must start for the rest of the season.

Next week things might get even tougher for the three-time Super Bowl champion quarterback as he will face off against the arch rival Indianapolis Colts, but he could have another big day against that weak secondary.

Needless to say, Tom Brady will be one of the few players to watch in terms of fantasy football moving forward!
