Mavs

It’ll be the ‘old guard’ against the ‘new school’ on Wednesday night as the Dallas Mavericks make the trip to Oklahoma City to face the Thunder.  OKC has been playing very well of late and currently holds a 1/2 game edge over the Utah Jazz atop the Northwest Division.  Dallas is in the middle of the pack, but they’ve won 7 of 10 for a 9-4 record on the season.

For most of this NBA season we’ve been picking on the Dallas Mavericks and, more specifically, their horrible pointspread performance at home.  We cashed a ticket just last night going against the Mavs as home favorites and with Dallas 1-5-2 ATS this season at American Airlines Arena and on a  34-59 ATS run at home since 2008 we’ll be doing it some more.  In this spot, however, we’re going to go the other way and back Dallas as road underdogs.  The Mavs have been a very enigmatic team this season from an investment standpoint–Dallas is horrible at home but they’ve been money in the bank on the road with a perfect 5-0 record against the spread (4-1 SU).  They’re also a perfect 3-0 as underdogs.

We like this Thunder team a lot and love superstar Kevin Durant who is not only an offensive machine but one of the real good guys in the NBA.  That being said, we’ve typically looked to play against them because as the ‘hot up and coming team’ they’re often overvalued by the wagering public.  This is reflected pretty clearly in their 3-6 ATS record when laying points.  They’re a good team, but not yet quite as good as the ‘square’ bettors would like to believe.  Despite their good current form (won 8 of 10 SU) the Thunder are 2-4-1 in their last 7 home games.  We look for the Mavs to be in this game throughout and won’t be the least bit surprised to see them emerge with the outright win.

I read about this Cornell Uni PhD who reckons he won over $185,000 in October alone just betting on NBA games.

He sells his system for a one off price of $197 and gives you lifetime picks for NBA and MLB for free.

Has anyone had success with this or tried it out?

    His site is http://SportsBettingChamp.net
