Michael Redd Set To Rejoin Bucks

Remember Michael Redd? You might not considering he hasn’t see the court since January 10, 2010 when he shredded the ACL and MCL in his left knee for the second straight year. Well, after thirteen months of rehab, Redd is scheduled to return to the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. It’s not known when or if he’ll be allowed to practice and play in games, but it’s a positive sign to see Redd back with his teammates.
From 2003-2009, Redd was one of the NBA’s most prolific scorers and deadliest three-point shooters. He ranks fifth on the Bucks all-time points list and still holds a league record for made three-pointers in a quarter with 8, which he set in 2002 versus Houston. In his ten-year career, he’s averaged 20.3 points per game.
He was also a member of the 2008 Gold Medal winning USA Olympic team and an NBA All-Star in 2004. However, he’s only appeared in 51 games since then. He first ripped up his left knee in January 2009. He would return to the team for the following season, only to tear the same ligaments months later.
Redd is in the final year of a $91 million contract signed in 2005. It’s unlikely he’ll ever receive another hefty payday for obvious reasons, but if can complete a successful comeback, a spot on a contending team as maybe a sixth man is possible. When healthy, few players are feared more from long range than Michael Redd.

Mike is such a great human being, I got to know him at a basketball camp. He was so generous with his time and so ver humble. I also noticed that he doesn’t have any stupid tattoos
On his body either. If God had wanted humans to be painted he would have done o.
I truly hope Michael is able to come back, I have my doubts.
