Hilltoppers haven’t performed particularly well on the road this season, but we’re going to look to play on WKU since they’ve just got Sergio Kerusch back in the lineup. Both teams are one game out of first in the Sun Belt East, and WKU is really the better team. Kerusch’s strong interior play should give the Florida Atlantic frontline problems. Hilltoppers won by 7 at home in January, though failed to cover as a -11′ home chalk. Kerusch wasn’t in the lineup that night, and his 13 points and 6 boards per game should give the Hilltoppers a strong shot at pulling off the season sweep. That was the fifth straight home win over FAU and the first time in five they failed to cover the number. They’ve dominated this series in recent years, winning 7 of 8 straightup. At this price, we don’t need them to do much more than win the game. Look for Western Kentucky to win by at least a couple of buckets and easily cover this number.
