We’re just one day away from February’s biggest boxing event as WBC and WBO Bantamweight Champion Fernando “Cochulito” Montiel (44-2-2, 34 KOs) puts his titles on the line against the man known as The Filipino Flash, Nonito Donaire (25-1, 17 KOs), in the main event of the HBO Boxing After Dark event which takes place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nev.

The Mandalay’s Mizuya Lounge (excellent sushi, by the way) played host to this afternoon’s official weigh ins which were thought to begin at 3:00 PM/PT. Donaire quickly showed up and hit the scale without much notice to get an unofficial weight. As the challenger rushed off with members of his team, Montiel and his crew appeared to be visibly upset claiming that Donaire was overweight. Top Rank CEO, Bob Arum, immediately announced that the weigh ins would then take place at 4:00, which proved to be false.

Both men soon hit the scales officially and made weight the 118 pound limit on the dot. All weights for tomorrow night’s fight card are as follows:

WBC/WBO Bantamweight Championship: Fernando Montiel 118 vs Nonito Donaire 118
Welterweights: Mike Jones 147 vs Jesus Soto Karass 146
Welterweights: Gabriel Martinez 146.5 vs Mark Melligan 148
Junior Welterweights: Dean Harrison 141 vs Mike Alvarado 139
Lightweights: Jose Hernandez 131 vs Mickey Bey 131.5
Welterweights: Ignacio Garcia 146 vs Armando Dorantes 141.5
Junior Middleweights: Gerald Jordan 150 vs Rodrigo Garcia 151
Welterweights: Carlos Musquez 144 vs Yordenis Ugas 145

Television coverage for Montiel vs Donaire and Jones vs. Soto Karass begins at 9:45 ET/PT on HBO.
