Fantasy Football: Sit ‘Em Week 9

Quarterback
Carson Palmer, Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals came into this NFL regular season with high hopes of defending their AFC North division title, but things haven’t gone the way they anticipated as they are tied for last place in the division with the Cleveland Browns.
In Week 9, Carson Palmer and company will go head to head against one of the best defenses in the league in the Pittsburgh Steelers. This is not good news for any offensive player on the Bengals.
Running Back
Michael Bush, Oakland Raiders
This season the Oakland Raiders seem to be finally turning the corner as they have played really well in the first half of the NFL regular season, but in Week 9 they will be going up against the lockdown defense of the division rival Kansas City Chiefs.
Even though the Raiders are favored to come out on top in this AFC West showdown, starting running back Michael Bush probably wouldn’t be such a good idea as he won’t get many carries behind Darren McFadden.
Wide Receiver
DeSean Jackson, Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles will be getting back to form this weekend as they will finally get quarterback Michael Vick back under center, but even though they will also get wide receiver DeSean Jackson back from a concussion, I wouldn’t count on him putting up big numbers as he tries to get back to form.
Tight End
Jermaine Gresham, Cincinnati Bengals
Like I said earlier, the Cincinnati Bengals are really struggling right now with four straight losses coming into their AFC North showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but even though they might be able to pull off the upset, smart money says that Carson Palmer and company will continue to struggle against the Steelers lockdown defense.
Defense
Philadelphia Eagles
It is no mystery here that the Philadelphia Eagles will struggle this weekend against four-time NFL MVP quarterback Peyton Manning and the potent offense of the Indianapolis Colts.
