How does the Randy Moss trade effect fantasy football?

The New England Patriots made a bold move this week by getting rid of arguably their best wide receiver in perennial Pro Bowler Randy Moss by trading him back to his former team to the Minnesota Vikings for a third round draft pick next season.
Everyone knew that Randy Moss was headed out of New England, but no one expected it to happen so soon as the consensus was that he would at least finish out the season and become a free agent in the offseason.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case and now arguably one of the best wide receivers of all-time will be receiving passes from another future Hall of Famer in Brett Favre.
Obviously, this will change the direction that both teams are going in. Even though most people believe that the New England will be in trouble without Moss downfield, the Patriots were able to win their three Super Bowl titles without a big-name wide receiver and will try to do the same with the likes of Wes Welker and company.
As for the Minnesota Vikings, they will finally fill the void left by the injured Pro Bowl wideout Sidney Rice (hip) and become one of the most dynamic offenses in the league once again.
With the addition of Randy Moss, Brett Favre, Percy Harvin and Adrian Peterson stand to become considerably more valuable in terms of fantasy football. With opposing defenses concentrating on stopping the run and double covering Moss downfield, the offense will open up and Brett Favre will be able to lead this team with multiple options at his disposal.
So if you have Brett Favre and or Percy Harvin on your fantasy football team, don’t give up on them just yet as they could put up some big numbers over the next few weeks.
