Fantasy Football Injury Update: Donovan McNabb To Miss Week 1?

The NFL regular season is rapidly approaching as the season begin in about eight days and if you have already had your fantasy football draft you will starting to think about who to start and who to sit in Week 1.
Starting and sitting players in Week 1 is no easy task as besides the preseason you really have nothing to go on in terms of which teams will perform and which teams will fold, but the one thing you can to do figure out who you want to start in the first week of fantasy football is checking on the injured list.
One of the teams in the NFL that will look drastically different this season will be the Washington Redskins. With a new head coach in Mike Shanahan (two-time Super Bowl champ) and starting quarterback Donovan McNabb (six-time Pro Bowler), the Redskins have improved their team both on the sidelines and under center, but they might have to play their arch rival Dallas Cowboys without McNabb.
In his first start as the Washington Redskins starting quarterback, Donovan McNabb played better than expected, but like his career has been with the Philadelphia Eagles, the six-time Pro Bowler seems prone to injury.
Reportedly, McNabb is dealing with a sprained ankle that will most likely keep him off the field against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 and if he is your number one quarterback, I would start your backup QB even if he is given the green light by Mike Shanahan, the veteran probably won’t play well regardless as the Cowboys defense is amongst the best in the league and the Redskins will most likely resort to the ground game.
