The Minnesota Vikings are no strangers to media attention over the past two years and with the recent return of three-time NFL MVP Brett Favre and their two best wide receivers (Percy Harvin, Sidney Rice) battling injuries, the news has been both good and bad in the twin cities.

Even though it appears that Pro Bowl wideout Sidney Rice will be out of commission for at least eight games after having hip surgery and reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year Percy Harvin will be playing through severe migraines all season long, the Minnesota Vikings have made a couple of moves to address their injury problems at wide receiver.

The first move the team made was signing former Green Bay Packers Pro Bowl wideout Javon Walker. Even though Walker has been a disappointment for his last two teams in the Denver Broncos and the Oakland Raiders, in which he was ultimately cut after two consecutive seasons of less than impressive numbers and knee problems, he could be a value weapon for Brett Favre in the Vikings offense as the two are familiar with each other from their Cheese Head days.

The next move the Vikings made was making a trade with the Miami Dolphins in which they sent cornerback Benny Sapp to Florida in exchange for wide receiver Greg Camarillo (50 receptions, 552 yards and no TDs).

Now Camarillo is not a player that is going to get the Minnesota Vikings fans excited, but he could surprise some people as there is a huge difference between Brett Favre and Chad Henne.

Not only were the Dolphins a run first team during Camarillo’s stint in Miami, but Henne is by no means a Pro Bowl caliber quarterback that can turn a virtually unknown wide receiver into a Pro Bowler they way Brett Favre did with Sidney Rice last season.

So even though most people will think of Greg Camarillo as a wide receiver with little or no fantasy value, he could turn into one of the biggest sleepers of the season and is worth a pick up on the free agent list after the your fantasy football draft.
