MLS Soccer Betting Free Picks: Kansas City @ Toronto

Soccer betting will be front and center at sportsbooks worldwide over the next few weeks as the World Cup gets underway on June 11th. While the European Leagues are all in their off season, the US based Major League Soccer (MLS) circuit will take a two week break after this weekend. We’ve got a good position in a Saturday game between the Kansas City Wizards and FC Toronto:
Kansas City Wizards at FC Toronto
June 5, 1:00 PM Pacific
Toronto in very good form of late and are unbeaten in their last four games. A win here will move them into second place in the MLS East just two points behind first place Columbus. The Reds are undefeated on their home pitch at BMO Field this season with 4 wins in 4 games and have a solid +7 goal differential. Toronto is off of a very impressive 3-1 road win at San Jose, and now step down in class in their final game before the break.
Kansas City is floundering, and the World Cup break couldn’t come at a better time for the Wizards. KC enters this contest on a seven game winless streak that has seen them lose 5 and draw 2. They haven’t won since April 10th, and both of their victories this season came at home. On the road, they’ve lost 4 times in 4 games with a brutal -8 goal differential. Making things even worse for KC will be the absence of two of their best players. Team captain Davy Arnaud is suspended for this game due to bookings he received last weekend in a loss to Real Salt Lake. Midfielder/defender Roger Espinoza is away with the Honduras national team preparing for World Cup action.
At this point, Kansas City just wants to get to the mid-season break and against a red hot Toronto team on the road missing some key personnel its hard to see them ending their winless streak here. We look for Toronto to take all three points from this matchup and will back them at a reasonable price.
