NBA Betting Free Picks: Oklahoma City @ Charlotte
Added on Mar 17, 2010 by Jack Thurman in
Sportsbooks will have plenty of basketball over the next few weeks with a myriad of both college and NBA betting opportunities. We’ll take a look at a Wednesday night inter conference NBA game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Charlotte Bobcats. Both teams have been playing well lately, though Charlotte is off of a road loss to Indiana. Bobcats are currently tied for 6th in the East, while the Thunder are 5th in the West.

Gerald Wallace listed as questionable for Charlotte. Bobcats have a great sports betting SU home record at 24-8, while the Thunder have one of the best road records in the West at 19-13 SU. Where Charlotte has been slipping of late at home is their performance against the spread–they’ve failed to cover in 6 of their L10. Good scheduling setup for OKC as they’ve been off since Sunday while Charlotte played at Indiana last night. Charlotte also had a six game overall SU winning streak snapped in the loss to the Pacers, and anyone who watches sports knows that a ‘letdown’ often follows the end of a winning streak.
Thunder have won 13 of their L16 SU and have been a monster investment on the road this year posting a 21-10 ATS mark. They’re also 3-1 SU/ATS as a road favorite of 3 or less. They’re 9-2 SU/ATS with 2 or more days rest and have feasted on the Eastern Conference this year going 19-6 SU/17-8 ATS. Against the Southeast Division they’re 8-1 SU/ATS. Bobcats, meanwhile, are 2-6 SU/1-7 ATS against the Northwest Division. We respect Charlotte’s tough home court but they’re catching a very good team that’s rested and plays well on the road. Thunder win and cover here.
