Big day of action at the sportsbooks with a full schedule of college and NBA betting opportunities. We’ll take a look at a Central Division matchup between the Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls. Pacers last lost to Milwaukee at home on Thursday night, while Chicago held off a determined Portland team in overtime on Friday night.
Chicago Bulls at Indiana Pacers

These are two teams headed in different directions, and the online betting public has yet to catch up with how much better the Bulls have become or just how bad the Pacers are. Chicago enters the game having won 8 of the L10 and in 6th place in the NBA East just 1/2 game behind 5th place Toronto. Were it not for the New Jersey Nets, the Pacers would be in last place in the conference having lost 7 of their L10 games. Chicago has covered 8 of their L10 games and 13 of their L18, while Indiana has only covered 6 of their L13 games. Pacers were lucky to get a push against the closing line vs. the Bucks last night but with the game opening Indiana -1 that should probably be counted as a loss as well.
Bulls are 3-1 ATS this season as a road dog of 3 or less, and have covered 8 of 10 against their divisional rivals. Pacers are 2-5 SU/ATS as a home favorite of 3 or less (and if you had them at the opening price last night they’re now 2-6 SU/ATS in that spot). We’ve got one team that’s still playing hard to improve their playoff position against a team playing out the string. Bulls are the better team and should win outright as a small underdog.
