Free NBA Picks: Utah @ Denver

The Utah Jazz head a few hundred miles east to take on the Denver Nuggets on one of only two NBA basketball betting opportunities for Sunday. While most of the interest in Nevada sportsbooks will be centered around the NFL betting action, this could be a good chance to pick up some profits as well. Denver is third in the NBA Western Conference while Utah is 7th, but only 2 1/2 games separate the two teams.
Utah Jazz at Denver Nuggets

Jazz dismantled hapless Milwaukee last night as pointguard Deron Williams returned to the lineup after missing the previous game due to a wrist injury. That might not be enough here, as Utah has struggled against the Nuggets of late losing the last four meetings both SU and ATS. They’ve also gone 1-4 SU and ATS in the last five games at Denver. Jazz have been playing good basketball winning four straight and five of six. Nuggets have regained their form after a poor showing in December, winning 4 of their L5 and 5 of their L7 games.
Biggest factor in this matchup could be scheduling. While playing at altitude in Denver isn’t much different than playing at home in Salt Lake City, the NBA has gift wrapped the scheduling here to favor the Nuggets. Utah played last night and this will be their third game in four days. Denver hasn’t played since a Wednesday night home game against Orlando. Based on the Jazz’s recent play you’d like to think they could keep this one close, but the stats say otherwise and there’s no way that they would be feeling some fatigue here.
