Bellator 47 Featherweight Semi Final Results

Bellator 47 took place Saturday night as they went north of the border. The packed house at the Casino Rama in Ontario, Canada was treated to an excellent card that concluded with the two semi final round fights in the featherweight tournament.
In the Main Event Pat Curran fought Ronnie Mann and was able to frustrate him for three straight rounds. Mann was able to occasionally land punches, but it was Curran who used his reach to put together combinations and back up Mann the whole fight. When the fight went to the ground, it was Curran who was able to use his Jiu Jitsu to control Mann on the floor. Curran was able to secure the decision, and make his way into the final round.
Marlon Sandro controlled Nazareno Malegarie for three rounds with his punches and kicks, and was able to keep him on the outside of his strikes for most of the fights. Malegarie didn’t have much for Sandro in the whole fight, and Sandro fought his way to a pretty simple decision and earned a shot in the finals against Pat Curran.

Will Romero defeated Dan Langbeen by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27)
Alex Ricci defeated Alka Matewa by TKO (Submission to Stikes 2:40, Round 2)
