Bellator 45 weigh ins took place yesterday in Lake Charles, Louisiana and all fighters made weight. The event will wrap up Bellator’s 4 the season, and fans will be treated to 2 tournament final fights. Last weekend the promotion scored its highest ratings of the season on MTV-2, and they are looking to carry that momentum into tonights fights.

The main event between Richard Hale and Christian M’Pumbo will be a five round affair, as currently in Bellator there is no Light Heavyweight champion. That will change tonight at Bellator 45, where the winner will get a check for $100,000 and the Light Heavyweight strap.

The featherweight tournament final will be between Patricio Freire and Daniel Straus. This fight will be a three rounder, and the winner will walk away with $100,000. Also, the winner will face off against current featherweight champion Joe Warren.

The main card on MTV-2 will also feature a middleweight between Sam Alvey and Karl Amoussou, and this fight also has further implications. The winner of this bout will secure himself a spot in Bellator’s season 5 middleweight tournament that will start later in the year.
