Pacquiao and Mosley Both Make Weight for Welterweight Championship Bout

We’re just one day removed from the biggest fight of the year marking the day of the weigh ins between eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao, the challenger Sugar Shane Mosley as well as the rest of the combatants. Not surprisingly Pacquiao, who fought his first professional fight at 106 lbs easily made the welterweight limit, actually having weighed in at 145 lbs. while Mosley, a former welterweight champion weighed in exactly at the 147 lbs. mark for tomorrow night’s Showtime PPV televised event live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
It’s being reported that over 6,000 people attended the weigh ins from earlier today with another 2,000 of them being turned away. Some of those enthusiasts showed up to the arena as early as five o’clock in the morning.
Weights and betting lines for the pay per view participants are as follows:
WBO Weltwerweight Championship:
