Fantasy Football: Sit ‘Em Week 12
Added on Nov 24, 2010 by Barry in
Quarterback
Ryan Fitzpatrick, Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills are young and up and coming team in the NFL right now, but in week 12 they will have their work cut out for them against the lockdown defense of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
With that being said it would not be wise to start anybody on the Buffalo Bills this week because they will be in for a long day possibly negative numbers. Ryan Fitzpatrick is arguably one of best young quarterbacks in the league right now but you’ll be in for a long day and could be on his back constantly against the Steelers.
Running Back
Fred Jackson, Buffalo Bills
Like I said with Ryan Fitzpatrick, starting anybody on the Buffalo Bills this week would not be wise as they will probably put up very mediocre numbers and with this being a playoff week for most fantasy football leagues you can’t afford any mistakes.
Wide Receiver
Brandon Marshall, Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins don’t exactly have one of the most potent offenses in the NFL this season and maybe they never will, but they do have one of the best wide receivers in the league in Brandon Marshall who is usually a must start in anyone’s fantasy football league, but this week he would be on your bench as they will be facing the Oakland Raiders defense which has one of the best pass defenses in the league.
Tight End
Tony Moeaki, Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs are a very talented team and another great tight end has emerged in their lineup in Tony Moeaki, but an injury will either limit or completely keep him out of the game against the Seattle Seahawks this weekend.
Defense
Atlanta Falcons
Even though the Atlanta Falcons defense isn’t exactly amongst the best in the league right now, they can put up some good fantasy numbers, but this week you should think about sitting them as they will be facing the potent offense of the Green Bay Packers.
